• Lifetime Technical Support: We stand behind our construction. The CORTEX Shell comes with a lifetime of technical support, covering repairs to ensure its longevity.

• Intended Use: The CORTEX Shell is a mid-layer or a mild-weather outer layer. It is not designed to withstand heavy mechanical abrasion (e.g., from a heavy backpack without an outer jacket).

• Washing: Over time and with moisture, the fabric may relax slightly. This is a natural characteristic. Periodic washing with a dedicated wool detergent will restore the fabric's original shape and loft. Proper care ensures the wool remains resilient and soft.
